Domingo em Amesterdão foi realizado os MTV EMAs 2013 . A corrida para o prêmio de Maiores fãs foi muito emocionante, porque ao lado dos Tokio Hotel estavam 1D, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga e 30 STM. Todas as bandas com enormes Fan Bases! Mas no final, os Tokio Hotel saíram vitoriosos,por seus fãs.
Como um pequeno agradecimento, a banda postou algumas linhas e Bill e Tom fizeram um pequeno vídeo:
"Sabíamos que tinha sido anteriormente, mas agora é oficial! Os Aliens são os maiores fãs do mundo! Nós não poderia estar mais felizes! Faz-nos orgulhosos que temos seu apoio e queremos agradecer a cada um de vocês! Obrigado! Bill, Tom, Gustav e Georg"
Aguardamos juntamente com Tokio Hotel por vossa vitória na MTV EMAs 2013! Agora, será que já podemos ter novas músicas deles, sim?

Sunday we were watching the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam and we got all excited when we saw that Tokio Hotel was nominated for 'Biggest Fans', but because their last record and gigs already happened a few years ago, we didn't have very high hopes for them to win the award this time. After all, they faced competition from hugely popular acts such as 30 Seconds To Mars, Justin Bieber, One Direction and Lady Gaga! We know since the year that the band took part in our second 'Fashion against AIDS' campaign (2009) with their 'Rock Hard F**K Safe' T-shirts that Tokio Hotel has very loyal fans, but would they make it this time? In one word: YES. As Bill Kaulitz says in the 'Thank you' video that the band put on Facebook just after the win (he was there with his brother Tom; no idea where George and Gustav were, but I guess the twins are back in Los Angeles): "We just have the best fans in the world!" If the fans are so fierce now, expect them to be at least doubly so after the new record comes out later this year. We can't wait!
